I recently purchased this face mask from W2Beauty, and I finally got a chance to try it this afternoon.
First things first, if you’re anything like my mum you will look at the ingredients – and if you can’t read the writing in the above photo then you will have to take a leap of faith and trust that this isn’t made with toxic products. This mask is a mousse like texture. The smell is hard to describe, but my best attempt would be to say that it smells really fresh and clean – just the way you would want it to.
It felt very soothing and refreshing on the skin. It felt tight as it dried. You can see in the photo (bottom right) as I tried to frown it creased, which in my opinion leads me to believe it’s doing its job if it’s firming the skins surface. You can also see (bottom left) that after 15 minutes of wear it started to minimise the pores over my cheeks – almost like an Instagram filter!
After washing the mask off my skin felt amazing. I don’t have overly large pores so I didn’t notice much difference in the sizing of that, but my skin felt extremely soft and plump. Very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend.
SIDE NOTE: In the above photos I’m wearing fake tan, so please forgive my Casper impression. I don’t like to tan my face, I prefer to just use a darker foundation
Final thoughts: definitely worth a try!
